Seven successes...

A total of seven autograph successes have arrived over the course of the past four days. It's time to update those now!

Five of those successes were from college baseball stars, including Miami's Jemile Weeks. The Preseason Second Team All-American returned both index cards as well as the questionnaire in 20 days care of the UM athletic department.

Also in the success category was Vanderbilt's David Price. The Commodores' star left-hander also returned both index cards and the questionnaire care of the athletic department, that taking just 14 days.

Success number three was from Baylor's Beamer Weems. The Freshman All-American from a season ago signed both index cards and completed the questionnaire care of Baylor in 18 days. Weems also included a brief hand-written note thanking me for writing.

Next up was NC State-to-Oklahoma State transfer Matt Mangini. The brand new Cowboy returned both index cards and a partially completed questionnaire care of OSU in 16 days.

Last but not least was Georgia Tech's Danny Payne. He signed just one of the two index cards I enclosed but did complete the questionnaire in 14 days care of GT.

All of the questionnaires can be viewed by visiting the message board.

Two basketball successes also arrived this week, another Yellow Jacket included. Javaris Crittenton, Tech's freshman sensation, signed both index cards I sent him in just 31 days care of the athletic department.

One other non-NCAA success of note was Dallas Mavericks hoops star Dirk Nowitzki. He signed just one of the two index cards I sent him in 19 days care of the team's mailing address.

And one final note: The University of Nevada replied to my Nick Fazekas request, stating that they no longer pass along requests to their athletes. This makes the second school to send me such information in the last week, joining Gonzaga from a week ago.
