Bell in the box...

Wayne State University star running back Joique Bell signed a pair of 4x6 photos care of the school's athletic department in about one month. The redshirt senior holds school records for rushing yards (4,644), rushing touchdowns (59), all-purpose yards (5,663), total touchdowns (64), points (384).

Dixon signs....

Mississippi State running back Anthony Dixon signed a pair of 4x6 photos in about two weeks. The Bulldogs' senior-to-be became the first MSU player to ever rush for 1000 yards in a sophomore season back in 2007.

A finished project....

Former Indiana hoops superstar D.J. White signed an 8x10 photo of he and fellow former Hoosier Eric Gordon in about five months care of the Oklahoma City Thunder. This follows Gordon, who now plays for the Los Angeles Clippers, signing the photo while he was still at IU.

Four more...

Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin signed a pair of 4x6 photos care of the Bears' athletic department in about one month. A sophomore, Griffin was the nation's youngest starting signal-caller last year and was a First Team Freshman All-American.

Also signing was Baylor linebacker Joe Pawelek. The senior from San Antonio returned a signed 4x6 photo in about one month. Pawelek is an All-American candidate and a seven-time member of the Big XII Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Nevada quarterback Colin Kaepernick also returned a pair of 4x6 photos in about three weeks care of his home address. The Wolf Pack's signal-caller became just the 5th different player in NCAA history to pass for 2,000 yards and rush for 1,000 or more yards in a single season in 2008.

Rounding out the day was former Missouri pitcher Max Scherzer, who signed a pair of 4x6 photos care of the Arizona Diamondbacks. After being drafted in the 43rd round out of high school, Scherzer worked his way to the 11th overall pick after attending Mizzou.

Premier QB signs...

Mississippi quarterback Jevan Snead signed a pair of index cards care of the university's athletic department in about seven months. The transfer from Texas took the Rebels to a bowl game for the first time in six years in his first season on campus in Oxford.

Former Miami Hurricane wide receiver Sinorice Moss signed a pair of index cards care of his current NFL team, the New York Giants, in about 4 months. The brother of Santana Moss is a former 2nd round draft pick in 2006.

Dwyer signs c/o GT...

Georgia Tech running back Jonathan Dwyer signed a pair of 4x6 photos care of the Tech athletic department in just over a week. The junior was the 2008 ACC Player of the Year under new head coach Paul Johnson's high-powered, ground-oriented offense.
