Gridiron success...

Former star Florida safety Reggie Nelson has signed and returned a pair of index cards in just 22 days. That request was sent to him care of the Jacksonville Jaguars, who selected him with the 21st overall pick of this past April's NFL Draft. No Jaguars DB has ever been selected higher than Nelson. He was a consensus First Team All-American for the national champion Gators and left school following his junior season after winning the Jack Tatum Award as the nation's top defensive back.

UCLA running back Chris Markey also signed a pair of index cards. That request was sent care of the school's athletic department and was returned in just 14 days. The Bruins' back, who will be a senior in 2007, led the team in both rushing and receptions last fall and averaged more than 100 all-purpose yards per game.

Markey also returned the questionnaire I sent him; that can be viewed by visiting our forum. In addition, you can see the exact addresses used to contact these players by visiting our Success Database.
