Vanderbilt baseball stars Ryan Flaherty, Pedro Alvarez, Dominic de la Osa, and Mike Minor all signed an 8x10 sent care of the Vandy baseball office in just 10 days. The former three players were the Commodores' leading hitters last season, all batting between .378 and .386. Minor, meanwhile, was 9-1 on the campaign with a 3.09 ERA.

Meanwhile, Arizona State slugger Petey Paramore signed a pair of index cards and completed a questionnaire care of the ASU athletic department in 40 days. The junior catcher has been named First Team All-Pac 10 each of his first three seasons on campus for the Sun Devils.

Also signing was UC Irvine standout Ollie Linton, who sent back two signed index cards, a completed questionnaire, a signed schedule card, and a very nice thank-you note care of the Anteaters' athletic department in less than three weeks. The redshirt junior, who has earned Preseason All-America honors, helped lead UCI to Omaha last summer.

Ohio State quarterback Todd Boeckman also took time to sign a pair of index cards in just over a month. The Buckeyes' signal-caller led the team to their second straight national title game as he completed nearly 64% of his passes for almost 2400 yards and 25 touchdowns.

Southern Illinois basketball star Randal Falker also signed a pair of index cards and completed a questionnaire care of the SIU athletic department in only 10 days. The senior forward is averaging more than 12 points and 7 rebounds per contest for the Salukis.

A number of top high school prospects also signed, including Clear Creek (TX) High School's Jarred Cosart, who sent back a pair of index cards, a questionnaire, a baseball card he included himself, and a very nice note care of the school in just two weeks. The hard-throwing righty is an Aflac All-American.

High school hoops star Brock Osweiler signed a pair of index cards and completed a questionnaire care of Flathead (MT) High School in only 10 days. The 6'7" forward is headed to Gonzaga to play college basketball.

In addition, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and MLB Commissioner Bug Selig each signed 8x10 photos they provided in a little over two months, while Liberty head basketball coach Ritchie McKay signed a 5x7 care of email in about 50 days.
