Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin signed a pair of 4x6 photos care of the Bears' athletic department in about one month. A sophomore, Griffin was the nation's youngest starting signal-caller last year and was a First Team Freshman All-American.

Also signing was Baylor linebacker Joe Pawelek. The senior from San Antonio returned a signed 4x6 photo in about one month. Pawelek is an All-American candidate and a seven-time member of the Big XII Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Nevada quarterback Colin Kaepernick also returned a pair of 4x6 photos in about three weeks care of his home address. The Wolf Pack's signal-caller became just the 5th different player in NCAA history to pass for 2,000 yards and rush for 1,000 or more yards in a single season in 2008.

Rounding out the day was former Missouri pitcher Max Scherzer, who signed a pair of 4x6 photos care of the Arizona Diamondbacks. After being drafted in the 43rd round out of high school, Scherzer worked his way to the 11th overall pick after attending Mizzou.
