Another D-IAA success....
Western Illinois running back Herb Donaldson has signed and returned a pair of index cards care of the school's athletic department in just 27 days. The junior has been named a Preseason First Team All-American by multiple publications after rushing for nearly 130 yards per game last fall. That fabulous sophomore season was highlighted by a 328-yard, 6 touchdown performance against Indiana State, a game that saw Donaldson set a D-IAA record with 282 rushing yards in a single half. The 5'10" 220 pound bruiser scored 18 touchdowns in 2006, more than any other sophomore in D-IAA.
