Star success...
Boise State running back Ian Johnson has signed and returned a pair of index cards care of the BSU athletic department in 53 days. Following a stellar sophomore season in 2006, Johnson was named a First Team All-American by multiple publications, and he has garnered similar honors heading into 2007. In helping lead the Broncos to the BCS last year, Johnson led the nation in scoring and touchdowns, while ranking second nationally in rushing with nearly 145 yards per game.
Also signing was Kansas State quarterback Josh Freeman. The freshman signed a pair of index cards and also included a small card of his own in just 22 days care of the KSU athletic department. In his first season under center, Freeman started the final 8 games for the Wildcats and was the only freshman QB in the country to lead his team to a bowl game in 2006. He threw for nearly 1800 yards, a KSU freshman record, last fall and also helped lead the 'Cats to a stunning, late-season upset of then national title contender Texas.
Johnson also took time to complete my questionnaire. That, in addition to the small card Freeman sent along, can be viewed by visiting our forum. In addition, you can see the exact addresses used to contact these players by visiting our Success Database.
