Star Oregon running back
LeGarrette Blount signed a pair of 4x6 photos care of the Ducks' athletic department in about ten days. The JUCO transfer ran for over 1000 yards for UO last fall and set a school record with 17 rushing touchdowns. Blount was recently named a Doak Walker Award candidate for the 2009 season.

Also signing was Texas A&M wide receiver
Ryan Tannehill, who returned a pair of 4x6 photos care of the Aggies' athletic department in about two weeks. As a freshman last fall, he led the team and set an A&M freshman record with 55 receptions for nearly 850 yards and five touchdowns after switching to WR from quarterback.

Rounding out the week was incoming freshman quarterback
Tyler Russell of Mississippi State. The 6'4" four-star recruit from Meridian (MS) High School selected the Bulldogs over South Carolina and others and is battling for playing time in Starkville this fall. He signed a pair of 4x6 photos in about 2 months.
